“A picture is worth a thousand words” is the title of the new article by Steve Solot, president of the Rio Film Commission and the Latin American Training Center-LATC, published this month on the “Cultura e Mercado” website. The article addresses issues of so-called “film tourism” and the influence of movies, TV shows and series, as well as advertising on the choices of tourists when deciding which destinations they will visit.
